Royal Afternoon Tea

You are cordially invited to join the St. Augustine Royal Family for afternoon tea at the historic Waterworks in downtown St. Augustine. All ages are welcome to experience this traditional tea service complete with hand selected treats, live music, and the opportunity to spend time with the goodwill ambassadors to the nation's Oldest City. Fancy dresses, hats, and costumes are encouraged, but not required. Tickets are limited so get yours today!

Aviles Street Festival Saturday, September 5 Ximenez-Fatio House Museum & Aviles Street Join us on Historic Aviles Street for a day filled with live music, flamenco dancing, historical demonstrations, local art, boutique shopping, delicious food, and fun for all ages. As we celebrate Spanish Heritage Month and the rich history of St. Augustine, we invite you to explore one of the nation's most historic streets and enjoy everything this special festival has to offer. Blackbeard's Ball
Friday, September 11 at 7-11pm Art 'n Motion, 283 San Marco Ave, St Augustine, FL 32084 The Ancient City Privateers are going full speed into the storm on this one! Blackbeard himself decrees ye best be at this epic event of untold grandeur. Mingle with a collection of pirates and ladies showing off the best fineries that could be plundered. All ye landlubbers who are not engaged in one of the many krewes are also welcome to join in the festivities, and be enticed to plunder into this fun luving group of scallywags who gather for a worthy cause. We'll have a full time DJ, live music, cash bar, heavy hors d'oeuvres, silent auctions, a presentation by the St. Augustine Royal Family, and performances by the Ancient City Sirens throughout the evening. This an adult only event. Registration for the festivities is $70.00/per person until September 10th. Limited tickets will be available at the door for $80.00/per person. VIP Tables are $125. A limited number are available and include seating for 8 your guests (table price does not include admission). Prize for the best decorated table! 461st Founders' Day
Saturday, September 12 at 10am National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche at Mission Nombre de Dios Join us in celebrating St. Augustine Founders' Day on Saturday, September 12th! Celebrate the founding of St. Augustine and give thanks for the gift of the Catholic faith, first brought to these shores in 1565. The celebration begins at 10 a.m. at Mission Nombre de Dios with a historical reenactment, followed by Mass with Bishop Pohlmeier at the Rustic Altar and a procession to the Fountain of Youth. The St Augustine Royal Family will be participating in the 115th Annual Palatka Christmas Parade. This night time parade is magical with all participants decorated and lite up for the holiday season.

Saturday, December 5 at 9am
Downtown St. Augustine
St. Augustine's 69th Annual Christmas Parade ushers in the holiday season with floats, festive decorations, and Santa. It starts at the Shrine of Our Lady de La Leche at Mission Nombre de Dios located at 27 Ocean Avenue, and ends at the Visitor Information Center at 10 West Castillo Drive.

Celtic Parade

Did you know? The first recorded St. Patrick’s Day Parade took place in St. Augustine in 1601!
We are excited to be participating in the Celtic Parade this year!
The parade begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 14 at Francis Field, then heads East on Orange Street, turns South on Avenida Menendez and winds south along the bay front, and then turns West on Cathedral Place, and back North on Cordova Street to finish at the Historic Downtown Parking.
Menorcan Heritage Festival
Saturday, March 6 at 11am - 2pm

The Royal Trio is proud to celebrate our Menorcan Heritage and will be in attendance at the Menorcan Heritage Festival.
The festival is open to everyone. Come to this family-friendly event and learn about the Menorcan history in St. Augustine. There will also be food and goods for sales. You definitely don't want to miss out on the Menorcan Chowder and Pilua.
Royal Transfer of Office

Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine West Courtyard
Join the St. Augustine Royal Family for the Royal Transfer of Office as we welcome the new Royal Trio for 2027-2028. The transfer will be held at the Cathedral Basilica West Courtyard at 6pm.
Since 1959, the St. Augustine Royal Family has promoted the City of St. Augustine by portraying the Spanish Royal Trio of King Carlos II, Queen Marianna and Princess Margarita Maria. The Royal Trio was in reign when the Castillo de San Marcos was decreed to be built in 1672. Each year, we commemorate this Royal Trio by choosing three heritage natives to portray them and represent St. Augustine throughout the year in various events.
Palm Sunday Mass

Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine
The St. Augustine Royal Family and Entourage will be in attendance at Palm Sunday Mass at the Cathedral Basilica. Palm Sunday recalls the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and being greeted by the people waving palm branches.
If you wish to attend mass, please be mindful that this is a Catholic Mass and to be treated with reverence and respect. The church fills up quickly so it is recommended to arrive early.
Blessing of the Fleet
Sunday, March 21 at 12pm
St. Augustine Municipal Marina
The St. Augustine Royal Family and Entourage will be in attendance at the Blessing of the Fleet. It's a beautiful event held at the Municipal Marina immediately after Palm Sunday Mass at the Cathedral Basilica. A procession of the Bishop, Clergy, Knights of Columbus and Royal Family will exit the Cathedral and walk to the Marina where the Bishop will bless all vessels and crew. The tradition of the Blessing of the Fleet goes back centuries to protect the fishing vessels and crew to ensure their safe return.
Royal Knighting Ceremony

The Easter Week Festival invites you to the Knighting Ceremony. Please join us as Queen Marianna of the St Augustine Royal Family knights a few upstanding St Augustine locals for their key contributions and charity work in the community and bestows the honor of Sir or Lady.
