The Easter Week Festival was established in 1959 and is committed to funding and organizing the annual city-wide Easter Festivities, which culminates with the Easter Parade. For 67 years, our organization has upheld this time honored tradition and celebrated the history of the Ancient City by appointing the city’s goodwill ambassadors, The St Augustine Royal Family. Each year, three heritage natives are chosen to portray the Spanish Royal Family of 1672 who commissioned the Castillo de San Marcos and reigned during its construction. They represent the city at various events to promote and advertise St. Augustine.

The St. Augustine Easter Week Festival is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) volunteer based organization.
